Roache- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Marshall Gowland Manor, Sarnia on Thursday July 14, 2022. James “Jim” Edgar Roache, age 75 years of Corunna. Loving husband of 53 years to Kathy. Much loved father of Kirk Roache (Sue) of Sombra, Natalie Blais (Marc) of Texas, Lyle Roache (Jody) of Corunna and Sarah DaCosta (Victor) of Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Erica, Tanner, Shelby, Kayla, Kassandra, Karley, Kameron, Taelor and Emelia and great-grandfather of Emerson, Jaxson, Hudson, Keverleigh and Kenver. Jim was a loving brother of Norma, Edna, Ronnie, Gerry and Joanna. He was predeceased by 5 other siblings. Jim and Kathy have resided in Corunna for over 40 years. He was active in the community with minor sports including hockey and baseball and served on Moore Township Council during the time of transition to St. Clair Township. The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at Marshall Gowland Manor and specifically the Iris Wing for the care and compassion shown to Jim and the entire family during his stay there. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Parkinson Foundation, MS Society or to the Alzheimer Society.
