Joyce LeBar-Mitchell Friday July 8th 2022

LeBar-Mitchell, Joyce –
With great sadness, we announce the passing of (Margaret) Joyce LeBar-Mitchell on Friday, July 8, 2022. We thought she’d live forever by sheer strength of will, her indomitable spirit, and her conviction that she still had work to do. Joyce is pre-deceased by her husbands Albert LeBar and Jack Mitchell, son Jeff LeBar, and brother Earl Nuttall. Left to grieve are daughters Kim Thorne and Leslee Heys, their husbands Barry and Howard, grandchildren Graylin, Devon, Baylie, Erin, and Bill, and great-grandchildren Edith, Lucy, and Aidric. Also mourning are sister Rhea Roantree with Joyce’s Gananoque family, Scott and Mary Mitchell and their family, chosen sister Beverley Hagerman, and good friend Janet Baranik. A celebration of Joyce’s life will take place at Westway United Church (www.westwayunitedchurch.ca), 8 Templar Drive, Etobicoke, on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 11am. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation would be greatly appreciated to any of the following: Westway United Church, Canadian Red Cross, Grace United Church in Gananoque, Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society.
