Ruby Elsie Piercy
1933-2022
Ruby E. Piercy, formerly of Harvey, York County, NB, wife of the late
Beecher Leslie Piercy passed away July 11, 2022 at Hospice
Fredericton. Ruby was born at Moncton, NB in 1933, a daughter of the
late Murdock and Eleanor (Hanselpacker) Hicks.
She is survived by a son Leslie Piercy (Connie); a daughter-in-law,
Patty Piercy; her grandchildren, Christie Clark (Ian), Steven Piercy,
Alexander Piercy, Michael (Mikey) Piercy, Matthew Piercy and Benjamin
Piercy; a great granddaughter, Peyton Piercy; sisters, Joan McKay and
Beverly Conrad and a brother Ken Hicks (Donna) and several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband Ruby was predeceased by a son,
Michael Piercy on December 23, 2021 and siblings Newton Garland (late
Beulah), Ruth Bishop (late Laurie) and Betty McDougall (late
Gordon).
A funeral service will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3,
Harvey Station, NB on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Anne
Boudreau officiating. A time of visitation will be held following
the funeral service. Interment will follow at Acton Cemetery.

has suggested Hospice Fredericton or the SPCA.
