Michael Bruce Golech, 74 years young, born in Transcona, Manitoba, passed away unexpectedly in Richmond, British Columbia on July 6th, 2022. Predeceased by his mother Marie (2020) and father Michael (1991), he is survived by his beloved daughter Ramona, son-in-law Kyle, grand-dogs Bo and Coda, and many dear friends and family. He was a soft-spoken man of kindness and principle, of brilliance and endless talents, and a lifelong learner and mentor to many; he always had a fascinating story to tell (e.g. “the crows”). He retired just last year from his 48 year career as an aircraft electronics technician where he traveled all over Canada and the world. He loved his career, but first and foremost he was a devoted and selfless single father. He will be buried in a private ceremony for family in Powell River, BC.
Gone far too soon, he will be loved and missed eternally.
He’s out on the trail with Buddy and Buffy watching the birds and climbing the trees.
