MARCHEN, Stephen James
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Marchen in Peterborough Regional Health Centre after a brief but aggressive battle with cancer. Stephen passed with his wife by his side on July 10th 2022, in his 68th year.
Beloved husband of Laurie Marchen of Lindsay. Loving stepfather Derek Mastin and daughter Jennifer of Peterborough. Son-in-law to Jim and Marilyn (deceased) Hall of Lindsay, sister-in-law Katherine Taylor of Barrie and aunt and uncle Janice and Mike Tremblay of Havelock. Son of the late James Marchen and Marcella (Ruth) Bolton. Dear brother of the late Greg and Grant, Judy Hammond (the late Bill), MaryLou Gregory (Ray). Steve will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
Steve was great lover of all sports and spent many years playing baseball, hockey and lacrosse.
Retired employee of General Motors.
As per Steve’s wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life at this time. The family welcomes your tributes, fond memories and stories and online condolences which may be made on Lakelandfuneralcentre.com.
