Her light will forever shine bright in our hearts and in heaven. Bernadette Parkolab passed away peacefully June 8, 2022, with her family by her side at 62 years of age. She is survived by her devoted husband Michael Parkolab and her loving children, Nicole (Tommy Ascot) and William (Amber Wohlers) Parkolab.
Bernadette comes from a large family, mother Gloria and late Rolly Thibert and siblings Paulette, Carol, Nanette, Debbie and Jim. She will be sadly missed by her many friends, nieces and nephews.
Special mention, godchild Hadley Ryall and Bestie Donna Chartier. Two more people that were very important in her life journey.
Bernadette will be remembered for her unwavering faith and commitment to her God and her family.
Mike and Bernadette participated in COR (Christ and other retreat) for 7 years. It was a meaningful experience for both of them. It was a beautiful experience with many young people. It changed their lives.
She enjoyed boating with her friends, crafting and spending time with her loved ones. She inspired all who knew her, to live life to the fullest.

Visitation to take place on Wednesday July 13, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Parish prayers at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 10:30am – 11:30 am at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Road, East Windsor, 519-969-5841. Proceeding to St. John Vianney Parish for funeral mass at 12:00pm.
Cremation to follow.
A celebration of Bernadette’s life will continue after the mass at Riverside Sportsman Club 10835 Riverside Drive East, all are welcomed.
On Monday July 18, 2022 a graveside committal service of Bernadette’s cremated remains, will be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery at 11 am.
