Obituary
JONAS- Anne Mary (née Schmidt) of Port Colborne passed away at the Welland County General Hospital on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the age of 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Nick Jonas (2016), loving mother of Gary (Mary Ellen) Jonas, John Jonas (Lisa) and Nancy Jonas, dear grandmother of Shannon Jonas and Julie Jonas, great grandmother of Jaidyn Jonas, sister of Ed (Claudia) Schmidt, sister-in-law of Margaret Kovacs. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents John and Jolan Schmidt, her brother John (Mary) Schmidt, her sister-in-law Wilma (Albert) Kiraly and her brother-in-law Frank Kovacs. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. K. Scher for his compassionate care. The Jonas family will receive visitors at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will follow in the Davidson Chapel at 1:00 pm with Father Peter Walton officiating. Rite of Committal will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
