George Lyle Alexander Dickie 19342022

George Lyle Alexander Dickie
1934-2022
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of George Dickie
of Riverview on July 8, 2022 at his home residence. Born in
Campbellton, he was the son of the late Robert and Gennetta
“Jean” (née McNutt). He was retired from General
Motors as Manager after 35 years of service.
George could usually be found at Tim
Horton’s with his buddies, working in his yard, or at his
cottage. In his younger years, he enjoyed coaching hockey and held
season tickets for the Wildcats games for many years.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife
Patricia, sons James (Jean) of Barrie, ON and Gregory (Tracee) of
Kelowna, BC, daughter Anne Melanson (Mark) of Riverview, grandchildren
Melanie, Rachel, Maddie, Laura, Stephanie, and Emma, great-grandson
Caleb, and his dog Charlie. Besides his parents, George was
predeceased by his brother Robert and sister Helen
Jean.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Friday, July 15th from
7-9pm. Donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital would be
greatly appreciated by the family.
