Tributes
McEwen, Phoebe Anne
Peacefully at Osgoode Care Centre after a long battle with Huntington Disease, we said goodbye to a dear Wife, Mom and Grandmother on Monday, July 4, 2022 in her 66th year. We rejoice in knowing that even though the battle was long, we can claim victory that she has gone home to be with her heavenly Father whom she loved with all her heart.
Phoebe is survived by her loving husband Earle; children Jeff (Leanne) and Nathan (Marina); her grandchildren Alexander, Maddison, Sydney; William and Scarlett. Sister of Brydon Deyo (Lynda), Valerie McGillivray (Bruce), Elsie Asselstine (Terry), Jenny Thomas (Glen) and Lorie Rendell (Tim). She will also be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
We will miss her laughter and her heartfelt embraces. We are grateful for her example of love and the many hearts she had touched.
Friends may attend a visitation at the Kars Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars on Thursday, July 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church, 6556 Prince of Wales Dr., North Gower on Friday, July 15th at 11 a.m. Interment Rideauvale Cemetery. Those wishing may make memorial donations to Osgoode Care Centre or Huntington Society of Canada.
