Obituary
Bonnie Gail Martyniuk (nee King)
February 15, 1948 – January 7, 2022
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bonnie after a valiant fight against reoccurring infection.
She will be met with open arms by her husband Ken (1997), son Jason (1988) and many other family members and friends.
Bonnie had a love for life overcoming many obstacles with a positive, quiet demeanor and sense of humour.
Bonnie was very talented and crafty. She loved to learn and teach others. She won 1st prize at the Calgary Stampede for her paper tole, then taught at Spy hill in Calgary. Blessing many with her homemade gifts of quilting, jewelry and so much more.
She loved to give expecting nothing in return. Bonnie loved the ocean and everything that went along with it especially seagulls. On her bucket list was to have high tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria and a float plane tour of Tofino in August of 2020. A huge love of hers was reading books and learning new things. Her biggest love was talking with her grandkids Tracker and Riley.
She will be forever loved, remembered and missed by her daughters Jodie (Chris, Tracker, Riley), Kim (Pat, Candice, Matthew) and families, her sisters Linda, Cheryl, Donna, brother Gary and families and numerous extended family and a life time of friends. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Drumheller Public Library. There will be a family Celebration of Life held at a later date. Courtney-Winter’s Funeral Homes are in care of the arrangement.
Love you big time, your bucket list will continue!
