Kornelson Eugene December 16 1950

EUGENE “GENO” FRANCIS KORNELSON of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Carol Kornelson, passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the age of 71 years.

Besides his loving wife Carol, Geno is survived by his loving children, Lindsay and Scott (Lindsay). He is also survived by his granddaughters, Jada and Gianna, and grandsons, Brody and Jasper.

Geno was born in Abbotsford, BC, and the family later moved to the farming community of Bassano, Alberta. He joined the Lethbridge City Police Department in 1975, retiring in 2001. He then started a new career selling farm equipment for John Deere and New Holland, developing many new and joyous friendships.

Gene had a tremendous love for his family and friends, had a great sense of humour and enjoyed telling jokes. He also enjoyed travelling over the years.

Gene filled our hearts with much enjoyment and fun. He was a wonderful husband, life partner and father who took great pride in his children and grandchildren.

Gene will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Gene’s life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME – 2825 32nd Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta – on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at 2:00 PM.

In Gene’s memory, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (www.heartandstroke.ca).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Kornelson Eugene December 16 1950..
