Freida Pearl Allary
October 8, 1956 – July 3, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, sister, kokum and aunt, Freida Pearl Allary at the age of 65. Freida was born on Ochapowace First Nation to Ronald Allary & Helen Kaye. Freida’s memory will forever live on through her children who will always love and miss her dearly; Justin (Vanessa), Gary (Natalie), Tara (Tara), Charmaine, Breanne, Trae, Tianne and Heavenlee
She is survived by her siblings; Shirlene, Jody (Chad), Natasha, Ron. Freida adored her grandchildren and was very proud of all of them; Priscilla, Cohen, Justin, Joseph, James, Janelle, Shennia, Andrew, Gary Jr, Emily, Lauren, Adaeus, Thalia, Ronnie, Justin Jr.
Freida was a proud great grandmother and leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters and brothers that she adopted through what she would call “the Indian way”.
Freida was a spirited lady and her life revolved around being a natural nurturer and caregiver, Freida obtained her certificate in addictions, and started her career early at the Macsi Centre in Regina. She went on to spend numerous years helping those struggling with substance use disorders to find their way and worked on various First Nations as a NNADAP worker.
Freida loved cooking, dancing, music, singing, she most recently attended the Chris Stapleton concert in Regina and said she had the best time of her life and we can’t forget her love for fashion, jewelry and hats. Freida was always there to be a pillar of support for those who needed her and will be forever missed and loved by those who knew her.
Wake will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 4 pm in the Chief Denton multiplex, Ochapowace First Nation. Funeral Service will begin Thursday, July 7, 2022 with a feast at 11 am and funeral to follow in the same location.
