Obituary of Raymond Joseph Labadie
LABADIE- Raymond Joseph passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute, London on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Frances Labadie (nee Innarelli) (May 12, 2021). Ray is survived by his loving children Cheryl-Anne Iacobellis, Leona Smith (Wayne), Debra Purcell, and Brian Labadie; by his grandchildren Austin Labadie, Jordan Adcock (Stevie), Nicole McManus (Matt), Collin Purcell, Laura Fischer, Samantha Smith, Mathew Iacobellis, Jessica Iacobellis, Hayley Iacobellis, and Laura-Lea Dombrowski (Andrew); by his great grandchildren Quinn, Lily, Roselyn, and Ivory. Predeceased by his son Roger Labadie. Ray was born in Chatham, Ontario to the late Herman and Leona Labadie. He retired from Waekens Krochak Chrysler dealership in Chatham, where he worked as the Foreman/frame man body mechanic. Ray enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and camping with his family. Cremation has taken place. A private interment of ashes will be held on a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
