It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Zelda on Friday July 1st, 2022 surrounding by her loving family at the Collingwood General and Maine Hospital, ON. In her 79th year, Zelda, beloved wife of Murray for 55 years. Loving mother of Brent (Maria) and Heather (Robert). Dear Nana of Sophia, Ava, Jorja, David and Alexis. Zelda is survived by her sister Susan Roberts. Fondly remembered by her in laws, Carol Anderson (the late Gary), Ross (Cathy) Dixon, Bill (Sharon) Dixon, Lynn (Norm) Theberge, and her many nieces and nephews. Her favourite place was the cottage, spending time with the family and friends that she cherished and loved so dearly. She will always be remembered for her faith in God, her kindness, strength and her love of helping and offering guidance to others. Words can’t express how much we will miss her. A special heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at Wasaga Beach United Church, 380 Zoo Park Road, Wasaga Beach Saturday July 9, 2022 from 12 noon for the Memorial Service at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. Remembrances to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Zelda’s family.
