Obituary
Wanda passed peacefully in the presence of her loving husband, Wayne, after a short and unexpected illness.
Predeceased by parents, Annie and Erwin Smith; parents-in-law, Ellen and Herbert Worthman; brother, Carson Smith; brothers-in-law, Jim Green and Tom Upshall; sister-in-law, Phyllis Worthman; and special nephew, Morgan Green.
In addition to Wayne, Wanda leaves with loving memories of their lives together sons, Jeff (Vonda), Mitchell (Leanne), and Matthew (Daniel); daughter, Amy Worthman (Darcy); and her precious grandchildren, Alex, Drew, Jordyn, and Riley who were her pride and joy. Sisters, Maxine (Walt) Thorne and Gertie (Wallace) Thorne; brother, Darren (Cathy) Smith; siblings-in-law, Carolyn Smith, Ivy Worthman, Irene Green, Lew (Linda) Worthman, Dave (Betty) Worthman, Mary Upshall, Evelyn (Paul) Reid, Jimmy (Kim) Worthman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved dearly. Wanda also leaves behind a large circle of caring friends who were more like family and meant so much to her.
Thank you to all who have supported the family in any way during this most difficult time. Special thank-you to her special friend, Joan and niece, April for being her go-to support people these past few years, and to Daniel for the incredible support, guidance, and reassurance he provided to Wayne while in Halifax.
