Emigrated from Cimpello, Friuli, Italy on 25 March 1952 – a new life of opportunity with brothers Giovannin and Lino and sister Salute Maria; high school, university, MA in Geophysical Engineering; founding his consulting company CASE (the beginning of the acronyms); marriage of a lifetime to his sweetheart Milvia; settling in his beloved home on the ravine in Rexdale; children Linda (Peter) and Eric (Brigitte), so very loved and adored; lifelong involvement in local issues, always acting passionately to make the community better for all (whether through tennis or wetland conservation) – continuation of the acronyms: AGTC, ARCH, WET; doting over his grandchildren Melissa (Suhil), Samantha-Rose (Cole), Nico, Natalia (who will miss him so much!); visits to Cape Cod, walks in the woods back home, always with binoculars, feeding and watching birds in his backyard paradise. A full life of purpose and love for family, nature, and community.Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Monday from 6-9pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday July 5th, 2022 at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
