Obituary of Dianne White
White, Ellen “Dianne” – 79 of North Noel Road, Nova Scotia passed away on June 29, 2022, at Elk Court, Brookfield. Born in North Noel Road, she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Freda (McCulloch) White.
Dianne delivered mail for Canada Post for 46 years, retiring at age 74 and during that time also delivered the Chronicle Herald for many years. Dianne’s favorite things were Bingo, Bluegrass Music (especially New Shade of Blue) playing cards and car races.
She is survived by, sons Troy (Lori), Bernard (Judy), brother Munroe (Carrie) and sister Laverne and her Aunt Kay. Grandchildren Ray, Erin (Colton), Jackie (Norman), Ronnie (Millie) and great grandchildren Ryan, Grace, Ava and Hudson, nieces and nephews.
Beside her parents she was predeceased by her brother Dwight, sister Bertha, great granddaughter Audrey and Brother-in Law Rayburne. She also leaves behind her best friend Goldie White.
The family would like to thank the staff at Elk Court in Brookfield for the wonderful care of Dianne.
Respecting Dianne’s wishes: there will be no visitation, and a graveside committal service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, North Noel Road on July 8th, 2022, at 6:00 pm, Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating. Family flowers only.
Donations in memory can be made to St. Paul’s United Church Cemetery fund.
