Normand Cormier 1933 2022

Normand Cormier, 89, passed away
at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, June
29th, 2022. Born in Notre-Dame, he was the son
of the late Alfred and Osite (Babineau)
Cormier.
He was an owner distributor for
B. A. and Gulf Oil, he was also a volunteer fireman for the Village
St-Antoine for 14 years.
He will be sadly missed by his
two sons: Claude (Shirley) of Cocagne and Michel (Ingrid) of Toronto;
a sister-in-law, Yvonne Cormier of Notre-Dame; six grandchildren:
Britnee, Brandon, Natasha, Marissa, Matthew, and Raymond; six
great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his
spouse, Dora, née Léger (2020), a son, Conrad;
three sisters: Ida, Helene and Nora; six brothers: Alyre, Clovis
(parrain), Oscar, Blair, François and
Alderic.
The family will receive
condolences at the Saint-Antoine l’Ermite R.C. Church, 24
avenue de l’Église Avenue, St-Antoine on
Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 pm ONLY.
Funeral mass will be celebrated
Saint-Antoine l’Ermite R.C. Church, 24 avenue de
l’Église Avenue, St-Antoine, on Thursday, July
7th, 2022, at 2:00pm. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery.
Face coverings are strongly
recommended for the visitation and funeral
mass.
In memory of Normand, a
contribution to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the
Saint-Antoine l’Ermite cemetery would be
appreciated.
Funeral arrangements are under
the direction of Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, Shediac
(532-3297).
