Obituary of Nancy Susan Swansburg
Swansburg, Nancy
It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Susan Swansburg. Nancy died peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital on June 28th after an amazingly courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by family and friends.
Nancy was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on July 16, 1960 to the late Elise and Ken Swansburg. She is survived by her brother, David; her stepmom, Pat; her best friend, Susan; and her precious feline, Fig. Nancy is also survived by her brother in law, Rick, and her nephews and nieces. Nancy was predeceased by her sister, Heather and her brother, Peter.
For the past many years Nancy donned her uniform and served as a dedicated employee of Canada Post, ending that career, which she thoroughly enjoyed, as Post Master in St. Andrews. She was especially fond of the kids and dogs who visited her on a regular basis.
A gathering to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at Wesley United Church, St. Andrews, at 11 am on Thursday, July 7, 2022. Special thanks go to Dr. Julie and the Wellness Centre staff; Extra- Mural staff and her home support girls; the oncology staff at St. John Regional Hospital; all the many friends and neighbours who provided such great support in so many ways.
Care has been entrusted to Humphreys Funeral Home (20 Marks St. St. Stephen NB E3L 2B2). Donations to the Charlotte County SPCA, Charlotte County Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. On line condolences to the family or donations can be made at www.humphreysfh.com
In keeping with Nancy’s attitude, put a smile on your face and think positively.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Nancy
