Grand-Barachois – Paul Roy, 75, passed away on Tuesday, June 28th, 2022, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, Moncton, NB.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Henri and the late Thérèse (born Bourgeois) Roy.
Prior to retirement, Paul was a travelling salesman in Atlantic Canada for roughly 45 years. He enjoyed cooking, playing shuffleboard and spending his winters in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He is survived by his son, Martin Roy (Kathy Nadeau) of Greater Lakeburn; his loving companion, Monique Girouard of Grand-Barachois; his grandchildren: Kassia, Brielle and Jayden; his sisters: Gloria Gallant (Mike) of Dieppe, Diane LeBlanc (Steve) and Claire LeBlanc (Leo), both of Scoudouc; his brothers: Denis Roy (Lilianne) and Louis Roy, both of Moncton and Maurice Roy of Dieppe; his brother-in-law, Emile LeBlanc of Moncton / Grand-Barachois, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Murielle Roy (born LeBlanc) and by his brothers: Roger and Norman.
Visitation will be held from Passage – Chartersville, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (506) 857-1901, on Thursday, July 7th, 2022, from 2 pm to 3:45 pm, followed by the service at 4 pm.
In Paul’s memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
