Obituary
Passed peacefully away with her family by her side at Carbonear General Hospital on June 28th, 2022, Elaine Margaret Hoskins (nee Higdon) of New Harbour, aged 66 years.
Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Mary Higdon; her parents-in-law, Ronald and Bertha Hoskins; brother, Gordon and sister-in-law, Jean; brother, David; sister, Marie; sister-in-law, Christine; granddaughter, Keisha; and nephew, David.
Leaving to mourn with loving and cherished memories are her husband of 45 years, Mervin; daughter, Elizabeth (Jason); sons, Neil and Christopher (Kim); granddaughters, Sierra and Kendell; brothers, Selby (Mabel), Pleman (Tena), and Clifford (Pauline); sisters, Alice, Melva (Brian), Bernadine (Alistair), and Loretta; brothers-in-law, Andy, Clyde, and Raymond; sisters-in-law, Sherry (Brian), Madonna (Bill), and Louise (Calvin). She will also be remembered by a large number of nieces, nephews, other family and many, many friends.
Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Thursday, June 30. 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm.
A service to celebrate Elaine’s life will be held on Friday, July 1 at 2:00 pm from Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with interment to follow at St. Augustine’s Anglican Cemetery, New Harbour.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Elaine’s memory may be made to the Elaine Hoskins Memorial Fund.
