Obituary for
Jocelyne Lefebvre (Paquette)
In loving memory of Jocelyne “Joyce” (née Paquette) Lefebvre who passed away in Sudbury at the age 73 years, on January 10, 2022 in Sudbury. Beloved wife of 55 years to Donald Lefebvre. Loving mother of Alice Désormeaux (John) of Sudbury and Mélanie Matieyshen (Cory) of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Megan, Evangeline, Henri, and Nicolas. Predeceased by her parents Mendoza and Angéline (née Noël) Paquette, by her brothers Roger (Réjeanne), Fernand (Liliane) and her sister Mariette Rainville (late Raymond). Dear sister of Olivette Poitras-Giroux (late Aurel and late Roméo), Ghislaine Paquette, Carmen Pellerin (Joseph), Michel (Rose), Solange Ward (Louis), Louisette Lalonde (Lionel), Normand (Denise) and Betty Chalcraft (Dave). Beloved sister-in-law to Jena-Claude, Florence, and Liliane Lefebvre. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Jocelyne worked many years at Canada Revenu Agency before her retirement in 2008, but her true calling was being Mémé to her grandchildren. Her personal mantra was “If I had known the joy of grandchildren, I would have had them first.” A funeral Mass will be celebrated later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
