Grande-Digue, NB – Alphonsine Després, 86, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side, on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Hospice (Albert House) in Moncton.
Born in Pointe-Sapin, NB, she was the daughter of the late Antoine and the late Léa Mazerolle (Robichaud).
Alphonsine will be sadly missed by her husband: Normand Després; her children: Lilianne Allain (Alyre) of Cocagne, Francine Després (Rodrigue Goguen) of Notre-Dame, Vincent (Carole Maillet) of Bouctouche and Denise Després (Joe Breau) of Charlottetown, PE; her grandchildren: Nathalie Boucher (Scott McCourt), Jocelyn Després (Julie) and Gabrielle Després (Josh LeBlanc); her great grandchildren: Justin Pitre and Emma McCourt; her brother: Ovila Mazerolle (Francine Landry) of Saint-Antoine; her sisters: Lorette Lirette (late Eddy) of Shediac and Lina Pellerin of Shediac Bridge; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers: Alyre, Emery, Yvon, Hector, Alfred (infant) and Aldéi (infant); her sisters: Anna-May Bourque (late Médore), Mérita Doiron (late Ola), Joséphine Robichaud (late Antoine), Yvette Mazerolle and Jeanne Mazerolle (infant).
As per request, therewill be no visitations. Private funeral chapel will be held for the immediate family only. Internment at Passage Columbarium in Shediac Bridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Moncton Hospice (Albert House).
