Blanchard – The death occurred
at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, June 24,
2022, of Elizabeth “Jean” Blanchard, of Miscouche, aged 75
years. Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia she was the daughter of the late
Ralph and Gertrude “Gertie” (MacLeod) MacPhee. Survived by
her loving husband of 55 years, Ivan Blanchard; her two daughters,
Suzanne (Jim) Burrell and Tracy (Graeme) Harvey; her grandchildren
Kaylee Campbell , Jarrin (McKenzie) Harvey, Jenna (Kyle) Roseberry,
Jayden Harvey and Jolynn Harvey; a great-grandson Kooper
Harvey; her brother Donald (Sheila) MacPhee; and by a large
extended Blanchard and MacPhee family. Resting at the Moase
Funeral Home, Summerside, until Wednesday, then to St. John the
Baptist Church, Miscouche, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment
later in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Miscouche. Visiting
hours Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial donations to
International Children’s Memorial Place would be
appreciated.
