Leonie’s Obituary
DEVEAU, Leonie Marie Therese – 85, Barrie Ont., formerly of Newmarket Ont. passed away Aug 17, 2021, at RVH hospital, Barrie, Ont. Born in Saulnierville, she was a daughter of the late Willie R. and Clarisse (Comeau) Saulnier of Saulnierville.
Preceeded by her husband, Joseph Neil Deveau (Meteghan).
Sadly missed by her daughter, Sandra (Jody) Waring, Barrie; and her son, Gary (Tatjana) Deveau, Keswick; her grandchildren, Daniel (Lori) Waring, Bradford; Shawn (Jessica) Waring, Angus.; Tamara (James) Orsatti, Kingston; and Kyle (Brittany) Deveau, Keswick; her four great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Colter Waring and Madilyn, Scarlet Orsatti.
Surviving are sister, Irene (Carl) Thibault, Cape Breton; sister-in-law, Barbara Saulnier, Saulnierville; brother-in-law, Ingolf Jeebe, Barrie; and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by brother, Felix; sisters, Zita, Leah, Edith, Marie, Ann Marie and Cecile.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her. She also enjoyed crosswords, cross stitch and enjoyed her dog, Lola, and watching the Toronto Blue Jays.
Celebration of Life is to take place on July 4, 2022, at 2pm at the Clare Veterans Centre, (9938 Nova Scotia Trunk 1), Saulnierville.
