SWITZER, Alvin Blaine (Born Sept 29, 1939) – Passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Campbellford Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Alvin “Hap” was in his 83rd year and was a fighter to the very end with many health issues. Hap was a long time, active member of the community. Hap is survived by his loving wife June, his children Dale, predeceased (wife Cheryle), Kevin (Marie), Marsha (Blair), and Michele (Mike). He was a loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Loving son of the late Len Switzer and Hazel (Sucie). Brother of Ralph, Carol and their family. Hap will be greatly missed by a very large extended family and the community. As per Hap’s wishes, a private family service will be held. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church or The Bridge Hospice.
