AITKEN: Robert Michael, September 23, 1941- June 20, 2022 Peacefully surrounded by family, Robert passed away of pneumonia on Monday June 20 in the 81st year of his life. Beloved son of the late Helen and Robert Aitken and brother to the late Dawn Aitken. Robert left behind a loving family including his wife of 56 years Roberta, daughters, Kieron (Mark Gowanlock), Stephanie (Joel Poloni) and Alix Aitken (Steven Ruffini). As well, are grandchildren Dylan, Michael, Samuel and Sophie. Bob was a proud teacher for over thirty years. He loved to play and watch sports. He was an avid runner and voracious reader. But most of all he adored spending time with his family at his home on Lake Simcoe. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Online condolences are welcomed at manganfuneralhome.com
