Agnes Teresa Waechter (nee Fritz) of Walkerton passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Brucelea Haven, Walkerton, at the age of 90. Agnes was married to the late Len Waechter and will be dearly missed by her children Tom (Diane) of Richmond Hill, Paul (Joan) of Shelburne, Fred (Rhonda) of Walkerton, and granddaughter Alexandra (John Wheatland). Agnes will be remembered by her siblings Bill (Eileen) Fritz of Stouffville, Thomas (Ann) Fritz of Chepstow, Helen (Don) Waechter of Hanover, Doris (John) Powers of Chepstow, Pat (Helen) of Combermere, David (Wally) of Conestoga, Fred Fritz of Walkerton, John (Mary) Fritz of Formosa, sisters-in-law Patricia Fritz of Hanover, Betty Fritz of Chepstow, Angela Lacey-Fritz of Calgary, Joan Frizell of Owen Sound and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters Mary (Walter), Margaret, Thecla, and brothers Bernie, Joe, Jerry, Carl (Margie), Rob, and her parents Ambrose and Margaret (nee Graf) Fritz.
Friends and relatives are invited for casual visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2022, and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton. Fr. Leszek Szczygiel officiating.
Following mass, a Celebration of Life for Agnes will be held at Chepstow Lions Park at 1:30 p.m.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
