Death notice for the town of: Toronto, Province: Ontario
Dear John,
There are no words that I can articulate that will bring you comfort at this time. You guys were such a great team, the dynamo duo. I always knew when I was lucky enough to get you for an event, I could relax and the professionals would make my event perfect. We spent a lot of time together over the years, and you became part of our family. My kids adored you and loved when you came, and you always took such good care of them- always saving their favourite foods for them and Sylvia would say guard their treats with her life. – ” that is saved for one of my guys” she would say. We joked with you and we enjoyed good times together, and you became part of the clan.
When my father died, and when I went through some difficulties of my own, you both were always there for me to sympathize and give support.
I’ll miss Sylvia, her beautiful smile that lit up a room with her very red lipstick. Her always happy and sunny disposition, and how she made lemonade out of lemons when things didn’t go well.
We’re still here for you, John. You were a wonderful and devoted husband, she knew how you treasured her.
Just know that you aren’t alone! Our thoughts are with you, and Sylvia will forever remain in our hearts. She will be sorely missed. I’m so sorry I will not make it to the viewing or funeral as I’m not in town, but I’ll be watching on zoom.
All my love,
Esty and her 5 guys ( and of course, daughters in law and grandkids).
