Surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 68, our gentle brother, uncle and great uncle passed peacefully into the arms of God and his parents Jim and Pat Ross, on Saturday June 18, 2022. Much loved eldest brother of Mary Austin, Martin Ross (Jayne), Sheila Ucci (Louis), Kevin Ross (Lise) and Patti Roberge (Roger). Uncle Stogie will be missed by his 17 nieces and nephews and their families and his loving Uncle Ken and Aunt Helen Ross, Aunt Sheila Portinari and his many, many Ross and Brady cousins.
Mike loved his time volunteering with the Boy Scouts, the St. John’s Ambulance and the Knights of Columbus. During his many years of driving taxi, his very favorite part of the job was taxiing so many children to and from school, and with his white hair and beard, he convinced many of them that Santa Claus was their own personal driver.
Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Tuesday June 28, 2022, from 10:30am-12:30pm. A Funeral Mass will follow at 1:00pm at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (114 MacDonald Ave.) with Father Paul Conway officiating. Inurnment to follow.
