Baker, Heather Janette – Age 74, of Oyster Pond passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2022 from complications of a heart attack.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John and Iona (Williams) Jennex.
Heather was a faithful member of Jeddore United Baptist Church where she held many positions in the life of the church. She enjoyed travelling, camping and family gatherings.
Family was her pride and joy and she will always be loved and missed by her husband of 52 years, Gary; sons, David (Debbie), Darrel (Veronica); step-daughter, Penny (Bruno); grandchildren, Brendan, Rachael, Erynn, Ethan, Natalie, Danielle and Courtney; great-granddaughters, Alivia and Laila; brother-in-law, Everett Hopkins; Baker sisters-in-law, Beverly (Harry), Connie; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Susan), Barry (Noreen); special friends, Dave and Marlene Farrell; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Vera.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 23 at 2 p.m. in Jeddore United Baptist Church with Rev. Aubrey Deslatte officiating. Family flowers only.
Memorial donation may be made to Jeddore United Baptist Church.
Thanks to paramedics in Cape Breton and staff of QEII Infirmary 6th floor.
