Obituary of Michael Wry
Surrounded by his adoring family at home, Michael walked into the loving arms of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on the morning of January 11, 2022. Michael Wry of Shallow Lake, formerly of Kitchener, was in his 64th year.
Beloved husband of Carrie Wry (née Scott), originally from Waterford. Precious father of David (Katie) of Kitchener, Donald (Roshni) of England, Christopher (Becky) of Kitchener and Laura (Connor) of Kitchener. Cherished Pa of Eva, Isla and Edyn. Loving son of Arnold and Greta Wry (née Robinson) of Waterloo. Loving brother of Vicki (Ian) Craig of Thedford, Clayton Wry of Chilliwack and Beth (Joe) Arnold of Manitoulin Island. Treasured brother-in-law of Dean (Jackie) Scott of Waterloo. Wonderful uncle of Trevor of Thedford, Daniel (Alicia (Logan and Lavinia)) of Kitchener, Joel of Belleville, Aaron of Chilliwack, Katie of Chilliwack, Alex of Chilliwack, Corey of Kitchener, Dylan of Kitchener and Kayla (Nick (Skye)) of Wirral.
Visitation will be held at South End Baptist Church, 400 2nd Ave. SE, Owen Sound, on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 1:30 to 2:20 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate Michael’s life will follow at 2:30 p.m. and will be livestreamed via the church YouTube channel: youtube.com/southendowensound. All attendees must wear a mask, follow social distancing protocols and RSVP through the following link: southend.churchcenter.com/registrations. Spring interment will take place in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
