Jean-Louis “John” Carron passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Riverview Gardens. Born in Chatham 77 years ago. Son of the late Alphonse (1975) and Gertrude (1997). Devoted husband for 46 years to the late Judy Carron (nee Kerluck, 2020). Dear father of Nicole (Dean), Daniel (Anastasia) and Eric (Matt). Papa to Hunter, Gavin, Lyla and Rowan. Predeceased by his siblings Anne-Marie (1942), Charles (1986)/Louise (2022), Roberta (1994)/Wayne (1997) and Jacques (2012). Cherished brother of Roger (Marcia), Paul, Fran (Bill – 2006), Robert (Mary Ann), Rene (Cathy), Marie (Jean-Luc), Yvon (Cathy -1998) and Bernadette (John-Paul). Brother-in-law of Robert (Melody), Diane (Bruno) and Deb (Jim). Uncle and Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. John was an electrician for many years before starting his own business, “Carron Electric” in 1990. When he wasn’t working, John could be found tending to his vegetable garden or camping at his trailer at Rondeau Shores. He also enjoyed watching his favourite teams, the Detroit Tigers and the Montreal Canadiens. John’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all of the staff at Riverview Gardens for their care and support in his final years. As per John’s request, cremation has taken place. All are welcome to attend a funeral mass on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 am at Immaculate Conception Parish (24156 Winter Line Rd, Pain Court,). Interment to follow mass. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent.
