Francis Webber 2022

With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of
Francis Eugene Webber following a short but courageous battle with
cancer, two days before his 58th birthday.
Predeceased by his father John Webber, father-in-law Edward
Meade, sister-in-law Sharon Webber and brother-in-law Chris
Poffenroth.
Leaving to mourn his loss while also celebrating his life are
his loving wife of 22 years Mary Lou (Meade), the pride and joy of his
life sons John and Matthew; his mother Madonna, his brothers:
John(Lily), Jim (Dawn), Joe (Cindy), and Stephen (Amanda); and his
sisters: Diane (Brian), Cynthia (Fabian), Glenda (Leo), Sheila
(Gordie), and Kelly (Chris).
Also mourning his loss are his Meade family including his
mother-in-law Philomena, his brothers-in-law: Ned (Darlene), Wayne
(Margie), and Robbie (Daisy); and sisters-in-law: Shelia (Rick), and
Wanda (Dave).
Francis will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his 17
nieces and nephews, the Placentia softball community and a large
circle of family and friends including lifetime best friend Bo
Power.
Francis was loved by all who knew him. He found happiness in
coaching the boys and watching them play softball and
hockey, taking trips around the bay, entertaining family and friends
and hanging out in the shed.
A special thank you to the staff of the Placentia Healthcare
Centre for their compassionate care of Francis, especially over the
past few days.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Maher’s Funeral
Home, Placentia, NL. Visitation times to be
announced. Funeral Service will take place 3pm on Sunday,
June 19th at Sacred Heart Church,
Placentia.
They say that where there is great grief, there is great
love. The “Golden Child” will be forever missed and lovingly
remembered.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Francis Webber 2022..
