Krukowski, Stephanie (Stella) nee (Kasprowicz Stephanja)
Mom was full of grace, charity, and generosity. She passed away peacefully on June 13, 2022. She was born in Stellarton, Nova Scotia on January 14, 1917.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband Paul, her sister Josephine, brother Joe, and son-in-law Ted. She is survived by her children Teresa, Katherine (Roger), and Paul (Cindy). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
She moved to Toronto to attend Business College where she met her husband Paul and married in 1936. During the second World War Mom worked in a local aircraft factory and later in Tillsonburg at a Tobacco manufacturing company ending up in Hamilton where she worked for the Ontario Hospital as a caregiver until she retired.
She loved spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and traveling up north to the camps. Her smile lit up any room that she was in, and she will be dearly missed by all.
The family would like to say a special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff at Anson Place Care Centre in Hagersville where Stella (the “queen”) resided for many years.
A private family service will take place at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Burlington, 1010 Botanical Drive on Monday June 20th at 1 p.m. Intimate family and friends will be welcomed to the home of Roger and Kathy after the service for a celebration of life of our dear mother.
