Donald Campbell passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 96 years at Lumsden, Saskatchewan.
Don was predeceased by his wife Kay; his sisters Gwen (Lionel) Brierly and Betty Olynik; and his brothers John (Pearl) Campbell and Ken Campbell. He is survived by his daughter Sandy (Mike) Roberts and sons Don (Lorraine), Bruce and Alan Campbell; grandchildren Crystal (Drew), Traci (Brent), Trevor (Stacey),
Kyle (Ashlee), Christopher and Alannah (Travis); great-grandchildren Marcus, Isla, Jorja, Owen and Lucas; sister-in-law Grace Campbell and brother-in-law David (Jill) Donaldson.
Don was born in Bethune, Saskatchewan in 1925. After completing his grade twelve in 1944, he joined the Canadian army and went through training in Kingston, Ontario.
Don attended Teachers College in Moose Jaw, and then Saskatoon’s St. Andrew’s College U of S, where he graduated with a degree in Theology. He was ordained to ministry in The United Church of Canada and served in churches in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Alberta.
Don was an avid reader and had a keen interest in cars…… owning Many over the years!
Honouring Don’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
