Benjamin Roberts
1942-2022
COCAGNE, NB – Benjamin Roberts, 79, of Cocagne
passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June
10th, 2022. Born in Harvey, he was the son of
the late Philip and Ruth (Charters) Roberts. Before retiring, Benjamin
worked as a truck driver for the City of Moncton Waste
Collection.
Benjamin leaves to mourn his loving wife, Dianne (Sorenson)
Roberts of Cocagne; his daughter, Louise Roberts of Moncton; his
step-daughter, Rhonda McCoy (Willie) of Harvey; as well as his 10
grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Benjamin will also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law,
Vance Symes of Fords Mills; as well as by his many nieces and
nephews.
Besides his parents, Benjamin was predeceased by his first
wife, Muriel; a great-grandson, Malakia and two nieces, Carolyn
Thompson and Wanda Lee Roberts.
As per Benjamin’s wishes, there will be no
visitation at the funeral home. A celebration of Benjamin’s
Life will be held at their home, 657 Route 535, Cocagne on Friday,
June 17th, 2022 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Interment
will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery, Browns Yard on
August 20th, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
