Brenda “Faye” Arms, 72 years old went to be with Jesus June 10, 2022 while surrounded by her family. She is the essence of love and kindness with a servant heart. Faye had two long careers. She worked in the office at Watsons Department store until it closed in 1998 and then at Summit Medical corporate office until retiring early to lovingly care for her Mother. She continued to serve her family by helping to care for her great nieces and nephews, who she always said provided her best medicine of daily joy and smiles. Her family lovingly called her Faye-Rhody (a nickname given to her by her Papaw Weaver when she was a child). Her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews were able to talk to her either in person or by phone on her last night on earth to tell her how much they loved and appreciated her. She couldn’t reply but a tear dropped from both her eyes.
Survived by her Uncle Curt Weaver and Aunt Joann Arms, brother O.C. (Martha) Arms, Jr., sisters Ann (Denny) Brogan, Teresa Arms, Carolyn (Hal) Maddox, Sandra (Mike) Duncan and Pamela (Don) Burkett; Nephews Oliver (Tammy) Arms, Michael (Melanie) Arms, Corey Maddox, , Michael (Brittney) Duncan, Chris (Alivia) Duncan, Donnie (Brooke) Burkett and niece Suzy (Josh) Paris and a “multitude” of loving great nieces and nephews. Faye was a long time active member of Highland Baptist Church where she served in many capacities over the years.
