Daigle, Mary (nee Harper)-
We regret to announce the death of Mary Daigle (nee Harper) at the age of 85. She is survived by a son, Glenn, of Toronto, two daughters, Vera Daigle and Laura Hall both of Fort Myers, Florida. Also survived by one brother, Frank Harper of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario: two sisters, Reta Conway (late Colin) and Margaret Swystun (Joseph) both of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She is also survived by grandchildren Christine Kelly, Matthew Daigle (Kelly) and their son Bennett, and special grandchild Erica Fairbrother (Bob) and their son, John.
She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years Leonard, parents Harold and Vera Harper, three brothers, Tom (late Connie), Leslie (Maralene) both of Sault Ste. Marie, and Clifford (Nancy) of Michigan, and an infant son (stillborn).
Mary was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and moved with her husband to West Bend, Wisconsin, and then to Fort Myers, Florida to retire. She was a member of Cape Coral Women of the Moose, Chapter 815. where she recently received the honorary Lifetime Achievement Award from the Women of the Moose.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Health Park for the care and compassion shown during our mothers’ time of need. Memorial donations to the Moose Lodge or a charity of your choice is appreciated.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
