1947-2022
The passing of Gloria Elaine Richardson, wife of Murray
Richardson of Richardson NB occurred peacefully at her home surrounded
by her family on June 7, 2022. Born in St. Stephen NB on May 3, 1947,
she was a daughter of the late Carrie Cline. A loving wife, mother,
grandmother and great-grandmother, in addition to her husband Murray,
Gloria is survived by one son: Marcus (Jocelyn) Richardson;
grandchildren: Kimberly (George) and Darcy (Hope);
great-grandchildren: Christopher, William, Laura and Chloe; several
cousins.
Gloria was a loving and caring soul who truly loved and
devoted her life to her family. She loved to be in the company of her
family and friends and especially looked forward to seeing her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gloria was an animal lover who
loved her cats and she enjoyed boating and beachcombing where she
often looked for beach glass and flint. She was a member of the
Leonardville Church of Christ where she once sang with the choir. She
will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home
(755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the
Leonardville Church of Christ, Leonardville NB with visiting on
Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The service will be held from the church
on Friday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Hovey officiating followed by
the interment in Mount Hope Cemetery. In Gloria’s memory, donations to
a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
