GINGRAS, Vivian Marlene – loving mother of David and daughter-in law Jacquie, and adoring wife of 58 years to the late Louis Gingras passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with lung cancer, on Wednesday, 18 May 2022 at the age of 78 years.
Vivian Gingras (nee Neadow) of Pembroke. Proud Mother of David Gingras (Jacquie), Embrun. Honoured grandmother of David Jr. Gingras (Ashley) & Ryan Gingras. Great-grandmother of Benjamin & Katelynn Gingras and Ryleigh & Hannah Gingras. Dearly loved first born child of Gracie and the late Arthur Neadow. Dear sister of Doreen Ambroziak (Dave), Nevada Neadow (Denise), Utah Neadow (Alice), Carolyn Watt (Keith) and Colin Neadow (Kim). Predeceased by brother Monte Neadow. Vivian will be missed by many nieces & nephews.
Vivian worked in the public service with the Department of National Defence for many years. Vivian pursued a career in accounting having worked with Dean and McCulloch in Pembroke. In March of 1992 after completion of her studies she became a Chartered General Accountant and opened her own accounting business which she ran until her retirement.
Visitation at Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday at Calvin United Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Rankin.
