Judith “Judy Labadie 2022

Judith “Judy” Labadie (nee Cooper), a lifelong resident of Wallaceburg, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday June 6, 2022. Judy passed away peacefully at her home in her 60th year. Cherished daughter of Joyce Cooper and the late Wilson “Mike” Cooper. Beloved wife of Dale Labadie. Loving mother of Janine Thomas, Lisa Willson (Steven), Reanne Thomas (Matt), and stepmother of Jen Bilodeau (Dan) and Kyle Labadie. Proud, doting grandma of Ethan, Emily, Ryan, Averie, Chloe and Olivia. Sister of Deb and Ron Hyttenrauch, George and Cathy Cooper. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and cousins.
Judy always loved French Vanilla Cappuccino, a good board game; usually scrabble or rummikub. She was also a thrifty shopper who loved finding a good bargain. She enjoyed seeing her gardens in bloom and spent her days watching the birds and charting their migrations. She was in constant awe of the faithfulness of God and the glory of His creation.
All are welcome to attend a visitation on Thursday June 9, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm and Friday 10-11am at First Baptist Church (99 Thomas Ave. Wallaceburg). A funeral service will take place Friday June 10, 2022 at 11 am at First Baptist, followed with a burial at Riverview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Wallaceburg Christian School.
