Robert (Bob) Phillips passed away on Sunday June 5, 2022 at the age of 94. Loving husband of Marywillo for almost 70 years. Remembered fondly by daughters Theresa (Paul), Anne (Terry), Carolyn, and Mary (Harvey) and grandchildren Tracy, Dan, Greg, Rob, Pat, Laura, Katherine, and Brenda. Bob is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. Bob will be missed by family and friends.
Bob spent his early days living on the Danforth in Toronto working at his father’s electronics store. He continued to work in the electronics industry getting a job at ElectroSonic. During his career, he moved from salesman to Sales Manager of Educational Sales until his retirement at age 67.
Bob’s love of music was evident. He played Big Band music loud and proud whenever he could. Bob played the clarinet and saxophone. Bob and Marywillo moved to Stroud and after his retirement, he shared his talent as part of a band called the “Aristocats” that entertained at various seniors’ residences in Simcoe County.
Bob shared his love of travel with his wife, Marywillo. Travelling across Canada, East and West, in their RV, spending time in Florida, and camping at various provincial parks in Ontario.
Visitation, Services, and Reception to take place on Saturday June 25, 2022 starting at 1pm at the Innisfil Funeral Home located at 7910 Yonge Street, Innisfil, ON L9S1L5
