Emily Irene Stillwell 2022

Emily Irene Stillwell, aged 91 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Thursday, June 2nd, 2022. Emily was born in Indian Head, SK and lived in various communities while growing up. She received her education to become a Registered Nurse and began working in Regina, SK. She took great pride and dedicated her life to her nursing career, which took her to many hospitals in various cities. Emily retired at the age of 55 and spent her remaining years in Moose Jaw. She always supported local organizations, and cared about humanity, community and animals. Emily kept active and enjoyed golfing at the Lynbrook Golf Club and being a member of the Camera Club. One of her proudest achievements, outside of her nursing career, was becoming a life time member of the Lynbrook.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Mable Stillwell; and brothers: Ben, Mark, and Murray Stillwell. Emily will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and their families: Myra (Jim) Comrie, their son Kelten (Meaghan) and their daughter Eva, Ron Stillwell (Donna Obleman) and their children Sarah and Zach, Robert Stillwell (Zury Cortes) and their son Liam; Greg (Lynn) Stillwell, and Maureen Reichert.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 8th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Regina, SK at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Emily’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.
