Foster (Ted)’s Obituary
With heavy hearts our family announces the passing of Foster Leroy “Todd’ Munro, on Saturday January 8, 2022 at the Fox Ridge Care Community in Brantford, Ontario. He was 97 years of age. Predeceased by his parents William and Irene Munro. Cherished brother of Muriel Ballantyne (the late Elden). Predeceased by his siblings Lorene Pearson, Lawrence Munro (the Late Mary), Audrey Smith (the late Gordon), and Wallace Munro (the late Donna). Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews who he treated as his own children. Todd owned and operated a dairy farm in Embro for many years. After selling his farm 1976 he worked for Pinkerton Security and Burns Security for over 20 years. Foster had a love for animals. A favourite memory that Foster would share frequently was making a trip to Europe after selling the farm. He decided to skip the flight home and take the Queen Elizabeth II Ocean Liner for the return voyage. The trip home on the magnificent ship was a decision he never regretted!
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held in the spring of 2022 at the North Embro Cemetery in Embro, Ontario. In Foster’s memory, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (mssociety.ca/) would be appreciated by the family.
