Obituary of Bill Woods
Bill (William) Edwin Woods
October 15, 1960 ~ May 30, 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bill Woods, long-time resident of Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia on Monday, May 30, 2022, at the age of 61 years. Bill passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Bill made Tumbler Ridge his home for the past 18 years. He treasured the fond memories he made spending time with his family and friends. Bill was famous for his delicious apple pies which he would bake and randomly deliver around town. Bill had a love for the great outdoors and spent lots of time camping, fishing, and making people smile.
He will be fondly remembered and forever missed by so many.
Bill was predeceased by his son Sean; parents, William and Leota Woods; his brother Charles and his sister Debra.
Bill is survived by his loving wife Laura; beautiful daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom brought him so much joy; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
With respect to Bill’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
For friends so wishing, donations may be made in memory of Bill to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1100 Alward Street, Prince George, British Columbia V2M 7B1.
Very Respectfully, Reynar’s Funeral Home & Crematorium
