1964-2022
A time for friends to join the family to celebrate the life of the
late Brent A. Scott of McAdam, NB who passed away January 19, 2022
will be held at Swan Funeral Chapel, 1826 Route 3, Harvey Station, NB
on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Brent was born on May 17, 1964, a son of June Cloney (Whynot) and the
late Gerald Scott.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie (McIver); three children,
Matthew (Ashley), Hailey (Jordy) and Holly (Justin). He was the best
“Papa Brent” to his three grandchildren, Lauren Jane,
Ellie and Cooper. He is also survived by his mother, June; and
siblings Danny (Marcia), Barbara, Bruce (Cathy), Blaine (Sheryl) and
Beverly (Steve); sister-in-law Joyce (Don); several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his step-father, Fred
Cloney, sister-in-law Bev Scott; brother-in law Glendon Short.
More than anything, Brent was a loving husband, father, and papa.
Nothing gave him more joy than spending time with his family and going
on adventures with his grandchildren.
He spent most of his career working in McAdam and the past 10 years at
Costco in Fredericton. Brent took great pride in his work at Costco
and really loved his colleagues who quickly became part of his
extended family.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Brent, the family
has suggested Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
