It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Clifton Wiley announce his peaceful passing at Hospice Fredericton on Monday, May 30, 2022 at the age of 80 years. Donald was born in Chipman, NB on March 7, 1942 son of the late Ralph and Francis (Daye) Wiley. He is survived by his loving wife, Hilda (Drost) Wiley and their daughters, Donna Lou Harrison (Geordie Daye) and Debi (Wayne) Cunningham; brothers, Jerry, Eddie and Calvin Wiley; sisters, Lois Fornier, Erna Munroe and Patsy Spencer; grandchildren, Devin and Julia Harrison and Joel Cunningham; many nieces, nephews and life long friends.
Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Richard and Frank Wiley; sister, Grace Ann Smith; son-in-law Rick Harrison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 6-8 pm at the Chipman Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Second Chipman United Baptist Church on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Donald made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
