Sandra and her 1st husband Francis lived and raised their family in Happy Valley Labrador, where she first worked as a Nursing assistant at the USAF hospital in Goose Bay. After spending some time raising their family she retrained and worked as a secretary at our Lady Queen of Peace school. Sandra loved her time in Labrador and made many friends and lots of fond memories. In 1979 they returned to their hometown of Torbay, NL. She worked at the Family Life bureau and retired as secretary of Holy Trinity Parish Office. After Retirement she relocated to British Columbia where she met her husband Ralph and married on July 15, 2010. Sandra had a lifelong love of Camping and travel. Many fond memories and cherished memories were made through these activities. This love was continued with Ralph as they camped in BC and wintered in Yuma, Arizona. Through out her life Sandra enjoyed a great game of cards, 120’s and crib, picking berries, and she could put an “arse in a cat”. She mastered many crafts and even picked up painting in retirement. Her hands were never idle with some sort of craft. She also loved music and having a dance with Ralph, especially to Charlie Pride’s “Crystal Chandelier”.
Sandra was larger than life and will never be forgotten.
