Nora Lorene Ackersviller, age 99, formerly of R.R.# 1 Stratford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton. Born In Wiarton, daughter of the late Reg and Louise (Preston) Langford. Nora was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd Ackersviller on January 20, 2005. Loving mother of Lorne, Wayne and Gary. Proud grandmother of Darren, Ray, Crystal, Mike, Jonny, Anthony and her 8 great grandchildren. Nora was the oldest and the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be fondly remembered by the Langford and Ackersviller nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Nora was predeceased by siblings Marion, Florence, Beatrice, Norman and Stewart. The family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and staff and Knollcrest Lodge for the wonderful care given to their mother. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday June 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Avondale Cemetery (Meet over the bridge off of Avondale Ave at 10:45 a.m.) As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice through the W.   1. I’m so sorry to hear this news..I will always cherish our phone calls, and visits throughout the years. Your mother/ grandmother/ “great” grandmother/ and my favorite Aunt😉 was the matriarch of the family, and will be forever missed. Lorne, Gary and Wayne, you are in our thoughts, and prayers.
